When tying flies, precision and control are crucial. With the Riverruns II, any hook held by the jaws remains at the exact center point during rotation. This ensures every loop and spin is perfectly aligned.
Our vise features a calculated CNC cutaway in the bar stock of the jaws. This design achieves the best balance and the smoothest rotation possible. Adjust the tension of the rotation from rock solid to almost friction-less to suit your needs.
The Riverruns II’s jaws extend both horizontally and vertically to accommodate even the largest flies. Suitable for left and right-handed users, the vise is equipped with both jaw sets. The system exerts a 10:1 ratio force on the hook, ensuring a rock-solid hold every time.
The jaws are easy to open and close and are easily adjustable for hook sizes from #28 to #7/0. Once set, they remain in the position for as many flies of that size you wish to tie. Calibration is only needed if manually reset by the user.
The vise measures 5.640.6 inches (14101.5 cm) and weighs only 19.12oz (542g). This makes it easy to transport and store.
The bobbin cradle is highly versatile. It can also be used as a parachute tool by simply turning the unit over and tightening the nut or bolts. Raise the arm to the needed position for convenient use.
The package includes the vise, bobbin cradle, and a table clamp. The clamp comes with protective pads to prevent any marks or damage to the mounting surface.
Why choose the Riverruns II Generation fly tying vise? Because it offers unparalleled precision, ease of use, and versatility. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, this vise will enhance your fly tying experience.
